As a consultant paediatric surgeon with over 25 years experience, I specialise in managing most conditions requiring surgery in children. I am also an expert in minimally invasive surgical methods and perform laparoscopy for various surgical conditions.
I am UK's leading paediatric bariatrics (obesity) specialist, having established the Surgical Weight Loss Centre of Adolescents in 2011. My approach combines dietary and surgical methods to treat the most severe childhood obesity patients, who would otherwise be at risk of developing complications including Type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea. I offer various management options like sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y bypass or balloon insertions.
